GAM, 10 years of cultural transformation
The book will be released during 2021 in digital format.
Through its pages, a journey is made through the history of the building, the social meaning it has had and its dialogue with citizens. This work is the result of an investigation into the least studied periods - such as when it was Diego Portales -, it has unpublished anecdotes from when it was the Gabriela Mistral Metropolitan Center and tasty details of all its stages, including those of GAM, which had not been published. Regarding the most recent period, the reports reveal the cultural, artistic and civic pulse of the last 10 years. The book inaugurates, together with the Dramaturgy Collection, the Ediciones GAM seal with which it seeks to provide content that contextualizes and links artistic work with diverse audiences.

GAM dramaturgy collection
On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center, GAM, embarks on the GAM Dramaturgy Collection project, which consists of the editing, publication and dissemination of ten books with the texts of some of its most emblematic productions and co-productions.
The collection will be published in physical format and donated to various libraries and institutions. Here we present the digital version available for free download in eBook format and dramatized reading (audiobooks).
Project carried out thanks to the Book and Reading Fund of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage.

Reviews of GAM works / 2017 — 2021 by Rodrigo Quintana Ortega
In the book, the reader will be able to find a record of 35 plays that passed through GAM between 2017 and 2021 and the author's respective columns, which were all published in the electronic newspaper El Mostrador.
A prologue with words by Paulina García, Héctor Noguera and the philosopher Tirso Troncoso, endorse the importance of this work. His reflections talk about theater, but they always take us beyond it.
