The building
Leading professionals from the areas of architecture, construction, lighting, acoustics and services participated in the remodeling of this new space for Santiago. The GAM building takes advantage of the infrastructure of a convention center originally built in 1972, reinterpreted in a contemporary way and with a new sense of urban contribution by the offices of Cristián Fernández associated architects and Lateral Arquitectura. Their project was chosen through an international competition among more than fifty proposals.
