Our library has a collection specialized in performing, musical, visual arts and cultural management. All bibliographic material is integrated into the general shelf under the Dewey Decimal Classification System, promoting interdisciplinary crossing between the various areas of artistic knowledge.

The collection has been enriched thanks to valuable donations from artists and specialists, highlighting funds such as that of José Hosiasson, critic, pianist and music lover. Record counts, general titles, biographies and autobiographies can be found within this bibliographic material. In addition to some curiosities such as dedications and autographs for Hosiasson, in the authors' handwriting.

Some highlights in the collection are the translation of Jazz hot by the Frenchman Hughes Panassié, made by the Chilean musician Pablo Garrido; entire series of magazines such as Downbeat and Jazz Times; biographies such as that of Louis Armstrong (Gary Giddins), that of Oscar Peterson (Gene Lees), and that of the Chilean Alfredo Espinoza (Duccio Castelli); and autobiographies of Bud Freeman, Babs Gonzales, and Art Pepper.
