An innovative program of situated residencies comes to GAM thanks to the collaboration of Iberescena, where prominent Ibero-American artists will develop creations together with the community. Participate in this free laboratory aimed at people from indigenous communities and/or descendants.

The Argentine artist from the Aymara Andina community, Tiziano Cruz, together with GAM invite community members to take part in community work.

The objective is to form a group of local artists who will be part of the show 'Soliloquio', which will be presented in 2025.

This meeting is a prior period of face-to-face and fundamental exchange, since there is a crossing of knowledge and customs of both the community and the artist, emphasizing oral transmission, typical of indigenous ancestry.

In addition, Tiziano shares in first person about the Soliloquio project, and the work that is being done with other indigenous communities in other parts of the world, with the support of video records, experiences and resulting experiences.

"It is a personal project that becomes collective and universal. It arises from the pain of the loss of my sister due to medical negligence in the Argentine health system. This event allows me to understand how in a territory there are bodies that are worth more. It allows me to understand that this disappearance of the body is a systematic practice of structural racism that exists throughout the region as a result of the conquest," says Cruz.

“My show also reflects on how a body is a migrant within the same territory, the internal and specific xenophobia regarding some countries where indigenous cultures are mostly found, such as Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay. It is a show that focuses on the ideological whitening of the region before the impossibility of physical whitening.”
