Biophilia
A gallery dedicated to contemporary ceramics with exhibition, learning and acquisition of pieces.
The first exhibition houses a series of 25 ceramic sculptural pieces created by prominent national designers and artists, including Pilar Maturana, Andrea Lallana, Bernardita Cossio and Pascale Lehmann. The space will provide a unique opportunity to learn about and acquire pieces of this craft.
The project is led by the artist Alejandro Castillo, a graduate of the University of Chile, specialized in the discipline of ceramics, who has focused his work on nature, using organic fragments such as roots and shells as a study method. In addition, the team is made up of the project manager Gerardo Cruces, the designer Rodrigo Córdova and the sociologist Florencia Macchi.
