Young Critics GAM is an initiative of the Gabriela Mistral Center that has existed since the summer of 2011 as a training program focused on writing theater and dance criticism, as a means to learn tools of artistic appreciation.
In 2018, a new stage begins, in which a group of young people between 19 and 23 years old, graduates from different generations of the program, begin to form a collaborative group that expresses their point of view on the performing arts, through different formats such as writing criticism and managing content for their website www.jovenescriticos.cl; attendance at rehearsals and meetings with creators and companies.
