A production that invents a new myth about Inés de Suárez, written by Luis Barrales, directed by Manuela Infante and starring Claudia Celedón and Patricia Rivadeneira.
Before Inés de Suárez beheads the chiefs, when she must decide if she will do something to defend Santiago in the absence of Valdivia, Xuárez happens there. Patricia Rivadeneira plays her on an astral, mental, psychedelic and ancestral journey. A journey that is situated within the painting The foundation of Santiago, by Pedro Lira. Claudia Celedón embodies all the characters that Inés encounters on this journey, such as her Mapuche assistant, the historian Josefina de la Maza and Pedro de Valdivia himself.

A delirious plot, with a language that crosses poetry, ancient Spanish and current speech, gives Suárez a role that transcends the role of lover to which history has confined her. The work explores themes of gender, power, art, history and indigenous peoples.
Best work of 2015 according to the Critics' Circle.
