Starting from the observation of “The Death of the Little Angel” by Violeta Parra exhibited in Sala MAPA, we will reflect on the ritual, the object, the landscape and the portrait. Managing to recognize the similarities and differences between this work by Violeta Parra and the one exhibited by instinctive painters such as Julio Lucero or Víctor Inostroza, among others, similarities that come from a common imaginary reflected in popular iconographic sources and the ways of doing of the artisan, who creates from the few elements that he has at hand.
The workshop is aimed at young people and adults who want to express their emotions and feelings through painting, capture their perspective, reflect on society and their daily life, as well as their inner world.
