Film workshop "The European gods: Bresson, Fellini and Bergman"

A common characteristic of Bresson, Fellini and Bergman, in addition to constituting a clear example of the most original European celluloid and being contemporaries in the profession despite age differences, is that their works transcend their respective national cinematographies.

Bresson is a rare bird in pre-Nouvelle Vague French cinema and does not belong to the revolutionary forces led by Godard and Truffaut. The magnitude of his work, still and always to be discovered, is not afraid to immerse himself in concepts such as guilt and destiny, monumental dilemmas that intersect with everyday experiences such as the ecstasy and discontent of romanticism.

At a time when the Global Village has miniaturized cinema and filmmakers, the legend of these divinities of the Seventh Art are a current and unavoidable approach.
