Water Come. Tests for a regenerative matrix

An ancient oak forest in the Costa Maulina mountain range, lost in two large fires that occurred in 2015 and 2017, is today in an advanced state of degradation due to the spontaneous growth of pine trees (Pinus radiata), introduced since the 1980s on an industrial scale in the region. On the 3.8 hectare property, owned by the family of the artist Meliza Rojas, seven sculptural interventions of various scales, shapes and materialities are projected, designed especially for its place, with the mission of promoting the retention of rainwater and stopping soil erosion.
