More than 100 black and white images by Francisco Bermejo portray 10 years of the cueca in Chile, with its exponents and picados.

Neither huaso nor china costumes nor only in September on stage. The exhibition A la Chilena, photographs 2006-2016 provides a portrait of the cueca outside the stereotype. In total there are 110 images of the cueca, its worshipers and the places where they live.

Francisco Bermejo's photographs cover 10 years of the cueca in Chile. Years of change, in which the formations of groups like Los Trukeros were modified and places like El Romerito disappeared.

A la chilena... exposes emblematic places such as La Casa de la Cueca, La Biseca and El Club Hífico, and masters of the genre such as El Baucha, one of the pioneers of the cueca brava; and Rafael Cubillos, member of the influential group Los Chileneros.

The exhibition will be accompanied by cueca concerts, talks and the launch of the book with photographs from the exhibition.
