New exhibition at the Tomás Lago Museum of American Popular Art of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile, which seeks to generate a reflection on traditional tapestry, characterized by the transcription of a pictorial model to the textile support.
Throughout history, and particularly during the 20th century, tapestry acquired autonomy, being represented in the work of artists such as Anni Albers or Gunta Stölzl, both members of the Bauhaus School.
