What's behind Vincent Van Gogh's vibrant colors and desperate brushstrokes? Much more than the myth of the solitary genius, there is a story of brotherly love, sacrifice and resistance. We, Theo and Vicente is an invitation to immerse yourself in the intimacy of the Van Gogh brothers, rescuing the real correspondence that kept the painter united with his brother Theo, his great economic and emotional pillar.

The play not only explores Vincent's descent into irrationality and his almost mystical obsession with work, but also shines a spotlight on Theo, a man plagued by his own physical ailments and the weight of a complex family history. Together, the brothers face the imminence of mental and physical decay, posing their mutual support as the only defense against a destiny that insists on being tragic.

Under the direction of Rodrigo Bazaes, and an acting duo composed of Felipe Zambrano and Manuel Castro, the production is not a conventional drama. It is an ambitious visual commitment that seeks to transmute Van Gogh's pictorial imagery on stage. Through a collaboration of comprehensive design and multimedia technology, the scene seeks to recreate the painter's distorted and sensitive perception of reality.

Likewise, it addresses mental health obstacles with respect and depth, raising the viewer's awareness about communication and coexistence in crisis contexts.

Furthermore, the work offers us a current mirror: Vincent's difficulties, passion and perseverance are not very different from those of today's artists. It is a necessary reflection on the creative profession and the challenges that persist through the centuries.
