"For a long time I have been working with a testimonial line. First it was The Spider Girls, then The Man with the Cartel and now this case, which are three pieces of news that I always wanted to bring to the theater. They interest me because they help us portray ourselves, as an exercise in identity. What we postulate is that this is a consequence of a very sick system. Whether you are from Macul, Las Condes or La Pintana, we are all equally exhausted," he adds.

As Daniela describes, the new production by the Teatro La Encalillá company is based on the thesis extracted from the few words that Aída outlined when asking for a public apology. "If they cheat on me, I cheat back. They are robbing me, I don't know who, but I do know that they are robbing me."

The result of the creation written by Carla Zúñiga is a black comedy that not only invites you to laugh, but also to reflect on the meaning given to these festivities and on what values ​​and motivations build current Chilean society. "First there are the neighbors: what do they care that one of them is receiving many gifts! And the second is that the judges almost did cachipún to see what they would do with this lady. The crime was not classified and they had no idea how to act."
