The Pines

At the Los Pinos children's home, in the Maule foothills, Aunt Eliana is in charge, who receives a visit from Angélica, administrator of the Puente Alto children's home and chaperone of Carmencha, an institutionalized girl and patient with indications for containment. The distance causes Carmencha to want to flee, straining this small system created under the discourse of “childcare,” but which produces institutional, social and personal abuse.
