The president of the Ladies in Red of Los Andes can no longer continue dedicating herself to her volunteer work. Bosco Cayo writes and directs this work that explores memory through comedy.
Saying what was not said before is no longer possible. This is joined, in part, by a group of the Ladies in Red of the Andes. They wear red aprons that differentiate them from the other hospital volunteers who swarm with other colors. But now they are not walking through clinical corridors, but in the house of which was its president, a woman recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
While the disease blurs her, her companions will try to reconstruct her memory, digging to reveal what had been kept hidden, from the political to the domestic.
"I'm going to miss the president. Not her, but her head. Not her head, but her mind, her idea," says one of the characters in the play written and directed by Bosco Cayo (Leftraru).
A production by the Teatro Sin Dominio company that explores memory through black comedy.
