New version of the controversial piece that Egon Wolff wrote in the 60's. The production takes place in the Meyer mansion, a wealthy family who has a premonition that they will lose everything at the hands of the dispossessed. A nightmare that little by little will become real and that reveals social injustices and the murky origin of the protagonists' fortune.
Wolff's text, meanwhile, portrays a Chile in the 1960s full of social contradictions and class struggle. The production takes place in the Meyer mansion, a wealthy family who has a premonition that they will lose everything at the hands of the dispossessed. When they arrive from a meal they see their home invaded by homeless people who will occupy the house and the city.
"The first time Allende was a candidate for the presidency it already meant a threat that all bourgeois life was going to be disrupted. It was believed that we were going to have a Cuban Revolution and that produces a lot of horror. I remember perfectly well that when he was elected people asked themselves "What are we going to do now?", "Will we have to leave?" And it is precisely that fear that is printed in the work,” said Wolff.
