Shakespeare in a box. The Black Hours is a trilogy created and directed by Romina Herrera that includes fragments of Othello, Macbeth and King Lear in lambe lambe format. This type of theater presents a play in a box. Outside it, an actor moves the puppets and miniature objects, while the spectator looks through an opening and listens with headphones to the play that takes place just for him for a few minutes.
With one ticket you can see all 15 minutes and all three boxes of the trilogy. The title of the show evokes the insomnia that Shakespeare supposedly suffered from and is related to the selection of scenes, which all take place at night. The voices of the characters were recorded by Humberto Duvauchelle, Angélica Martínez, Iván Álvarez de Araya and Alejandra Montecinos.
