The family circus arrives with the company El Límite de lo Propio that combines acrobatics, juggling and dance to play with the forces and energies of the storm. This playful and risky proposal invites adults and children to experience the storm not only as a spectacle, but as a shared and sensory experience.
From Valdivia, the company El Límite de lo Propio brings a proposal full of southern identity, born from a rainy city. The creators return to GAM after presenting Masa Madre in 2023, tackling another stage project that deepens their investigation of circus for the whole family, this time having as its protagonist something as southern as the storm, playing with rain and wind.
Storm is a work that, through acrobatics, juggling and dance, plays with the energies of precipitation. The wind, the rain and the expected rays of sun surround the four artists on stage. A playful and risky proposal allows young and old to experience the storm not only as a spectacle, but as a shared and sensory experience.
"The work is a 100% corporal proposal, without text, very minimalist in terms of scenography, because we invite the public to return to the simple, to the human, but without losing the quality or the technical difficulty in which the circus surrounds you. A climatic phenomenon like the storm is known to everyone, but from the stage we invite it to live from curiosity, surprise and play," says co-director Francisco Arrazola.
The company seeks to make the attendees the protagonist from the moment they enter the room, creating dynamics that activate emotional resonance. "The public will not only be observers, but will also be invited to play, voluntarily, and thus feel part of the storm," adds Alluitz Riezu, co-director.
El Límite de lo Propio is a company that has been working since 2019 with projects that combine circus, dance and theater. Among his works are Masa Madre (2019), De Alta Densidad (2022), Embalar (2023), Descifrar (2024), Contigo, citizen co-creation (2025) and Storm (2025).

This work presents rumbling sounds, smoke and/or dust in suspension. There is no use of spoken word. There are sounds typical of the Storm, such as thunder, wind and heavy rain. There is a blackout for a few seconds. There is breaking of the fourth wall with a ball game and body percussion where the audience voluntarily takes center stage.
