After starting the Ghost road project around the abandoned US Route 66 and the ghost towns that surround it, Fabrice Murgia found inspiration for a second part of the project in the Chilean desert.
Thus was born this work that focuses on Chacabuco as a former nitrate mine and as a concentration camp that held 1,800 political prisoners between 1973 and 1974. Murgia came into contact with former prisoners, guards and workers to bring to the stage a metaphor for current questions, of a youth trying to confront a crisis that does not belong to them.
