Multidisciplinary montage of contemporary circus, music and live drawing that question what makes us human. A creation that unites the companies Circo Hechizo and Circo Virtual.
Table, tablecloth, chairs and plates. Three people eat while a voice questions: "What are they thinking? What are they feeling? Why do they do what they do? What moves them? What do they want?" This occurs in Speculations on the Human, a work of contemporary circus, music and live drawings that unites the Circo Hechizo and Circo Virtual teams.
What makes a human being what he is? That is the question that this montage investigates, which includes a sample with part of the archive of the work's creation process. There the public is invited to think and interact around the central question of the montage.
In Speculations… everyday objects and bouncing balls are manipulated in a circus style and with them the sounds that build the musicality of the work are created. The cast is made up of Camila Barrales, Juan Pablo Corvalán, Ana Harcha, Tomás Kaulen and Magdalena Pacheco. With text by Ana Harcha and choreographic advice from Thomas Bentin.
