With the purpose of disseminating Finnish dramaturgy in Chile, two contemporary plays will be staged in a dramatized reading format: It's a girl! by Otso Kautto (with Camila Le-Bert, Carolina Quito and Rodrigo Soto) and "Queen Games" by Antti Mikkola (with Antonia Santa María, Elisa Zulueta and Juan Pablo Miranda). The Chilean cast will be directed by the same Finnish playwrights, who will also hold two free workshops aimed at theater students and professionals in the field.
The “The Magic of Words” workshop examines the active power of signs and symbols and will be taught by the prominent playwright and director Otso Kautto. Its objective is to help understand the functionality of words, without forgetting that words and acts placed on the scene always have something of a caricature; they lose something of their nature, and gain something of the power of the signs.
