"Aguirre Project, from afar they looked like slaves" scenically investigates the question surrounding the representation of poverty in Isidora Aguirre's theater in the 60s - specifically in the play Los Papeleros - and in the gesture of representing someone else, embodying “her voice” with words and gestures.

Actresses and actors enter a stark game to represent other bodies and an extinct theater that makes them lose themselves in contemporary human terror in which every gesture and every word is a political vision and in which hypervigilance leads them to believe that they can only experience an existential and artistic immobility.
