Pundonor

“Don't we fight the struggles that the system allows us to fight?” The question is asked in class by a teacher who has just returned to the university after a few months of leave. But the lesson he must give, an introduction to Foucault's work, is interrupted due to his fragile situation. He needs to explain his behavior, redeem himself. That's what Pundonor is about, a work written and performed by Andrea Garrote, who also directs it with Rafael Spregelburd.

"The academic references are pure gold. With a precision that is unbelievable, Garrote composes this doctor in Sociology, authoritarian but brilliant, who cites Foucault, Derrida and Camus," wrote critic Jazmín Carbonell in the Argentine newspaper La Nación.

The work, produced with the support of the Recoleta Cultural Center, the National Theater Institute and SAGAI; comes to GAM sponsored by the Argentine Embassy in Chile.
