The word "Pareidolia" is defined as the ability of the mind to recognize concrete figures in abstract forms. That is the central motif and the title of this visual theater production produced by the company La Llave Maestra. A journey into the imagination without words where you only need to playfully observe the things around us to discover their stories.

This montage tells us about the ability to "see" and "observe" reality. Its creators wonder how if we change our perspective, our perception of reality is also modified. And, therefore, it changes our sense of what is real, opening the everyday to a world of creative, poetic possibilities full of new meanings that have always been at our side but that we cannot usually "see" or perceive.

In this way, in Pareidolia the viewer will find themselves on a visual and sensory journey that will take them through an experience with surprises, curiosities and beauty. Its expressive force lies in the constant game of transformation of scenic elements at the service of surprising associations, analogies and visual metaphors.

This creativity involves the viewer, inviting them to imagine and loosen the ties of logical thinking to enter directly into the living experience of the senses and the dreamlike. "The work will undoubtedly captivate you and invite you to let yourself be carried away towards surprising, comic, absurd, improbable and fantastic universes full of visual poetry," say its co-directors Álvaro Morales Lifschitz and Edurne Rankin García.

They add: "We believe that in these times of hyperdigitality, re-creating from the base, from the game that transforms our reality, through artisanal and simple means, where creativity, ingenuity and the capacity for poetic associations and analogies are brought to the fore, is a revolutionary act that invites us to reconnect with the playful spirit of our childhood, where everything was possible and where everything had a soul."

Since its premiere in August 2018, Pareidolia has toured the world with tours in Venezuela, Colombia, Argentina, Panama, Spain, Brazil, Bolivia, the United States, the Netherlands and Belgium. It was in this last country where the company reached the hundredth performance of the assembly. This year, The Master Key (The Carnival of the Animals, Bestiary, Nomads) celebrates its 15th anniversary.

“(Pareidolia) is a revolutionary act that invites us to reconnect with the playful spirit of our childhood, where everything was possible and where everything had a soul.”
