A mother and a son who inhabit the street as a place of resistance to a society to which they do not wish to belong and to which they decide to confront by carrying out a poetic act, as a last gesture to illuminate a country that lives in darkness. Inspired by “The Vigilantes” by Diamela Eltit, and “Bonzo” by Maximilano Andrade.
Revisitation of the production HAMBRE, the first creation of the Chilean company Teatro Niño Proletario, made in 2005. This work was inspired by the novel Los Vigilantes, by Diamela Eltit, National Arts Award 2018.
This revisit is added as inspiration to the collection of poems Bonzo, by Maximiliano Andrade, a young Chilean poet, who also stands out as an illustrator, a work that he incorporates into the visuality of his poems.
