It's not a fancy name. This theater is effectively done in cabinets, small scale for an even tinier audience: a single spectator. And to satisfy the hunger for entertainment during the winter holidays, this time the Cabinet Network will stage 10 works, nine of them for all spectators and the remaining one exclusively for adults.
There will be six premieres and four reruns that talk about everything from the consequences of stopping cutting your hair to a text from Subcomandante Marcos, all in 10 minutes maximum. The direction of the actress Paola Lattus stands out (Tony Manero) in Ekeko and the design by Catalina Devia (The brutes) in Pedro manes.
The works that will be premiered are Gema Galgani, directed by Carolina Cornejo; TE All spectator, ridden by Leo Medel; Trailer, by Teatro Fresa Salvaje; The Maiti Chow, by Jose Martínez & Martin Benavides; Pedro manes, directed by Constanza Thumler; and Exit, the only one exclusively for adults, which is staged by Felipe Rojas.
Those who return are Ekeko (or The Longing for the Sea), directed by Paola Lattus; ghost children, with Leo Medel as director; The story of the night air, with text by Subcomandante Marcos and direction by Pablo Riveros; and I think, composed and edited by Martín de la Parra.
