In the middle of a pool hall, we don't know if an actor, a psychiatrist, or a playwright who says his name is William Shakespeare, questions the validity of art and the emotional exhaustion that creation entails.

While this exhausted subject plays vinyl on a turntable, he shares the contradictions of his artistic path, the absurdity of establishing himself as a renowned artist, and the condemnation of being trapped in the eternity of his work: the body wears out, cancer consumes him, but death does not come.

The montage is based on the deployment of an older actor mixing historical, philosophical and personal references in a tone that oscillates between irony and melancholy, making the figure of this dying, multifaceted and contradictory subject become a symbol of the search for meaning through art, memory and the word.

This is undoubtedly a work with autobiographical overtones where the pens of Marco Antonio de la Parra and his greatest intellectual references come together, among them, William Shakespeare.
