Maria Ashes

The imaginary of the work is located in the Chilean countryside of the central valley, where an actress tells stories through the use of masks and dolls. It tells the life of María, a girl who promises to take care of her family when her mother dies. However, Carmela, her older sister, relegates her to living in the kitchen next to the oven and the ashes. An old woman from the forest will reward Mary's feelings by dropping a gold star from the sky on her forehead announcing her good fortune. Wrapped in the brightness of her star, María will meet Juanacho Valverde, the charming prince of the neighboring town.
