Based on the poetry and dramatic texts of Thomas Harris, Losing the Ebr(i)o Battle presents a performance that delves into the author's personal experience, with and against alcohol.
In his love/hate relationship in the skirmishes with Bacchus. The action presents us with a series of fragments that immerse us in the delirious typhoon of the tragic celebration of the heroic alcoholic, which takes place between lucidity and death. The staging is carried out through the essential means of the actor's art: body, singing/word, actions and rhythm, together with a convivial space that invites the meeting of presences between actors and audience.
