Collective creation carried out by the performing arts workshop for the elderly that addresses migration issues in today's Chile.

“Lalane, Benito's farewell”, is a collective creation made by the performing arts workshop for the elderly that is inspired by a news event: the death of a Haitian immigrant who died in Chile during the winter of 2017 due to the cold.

After three months of work, the workshop resulted in a montage that unites music, singing, dance and texts written by the participants themselves. In 45 minutes, these 24 older adults show the viewer how they see today's Chile in the face of the migratory movement.
