Normality cannot define itself without aberrations that allow it to create its own demons, nightmares, monsters, abnormalities and deviant figures. In life, encounters with these monsters, criminals, cripples and deviants rarely occur, because these non grata people are locked up in institutions. “The monster, the deviant, the someone” is hatefully free, because he does not care about the limits of the rest. Society is jealous of his freedom, because it cannot and does not want to integrate him. His fear is greater and his cowardice too deep. That's why it simply deletes it.

Frankenstein-project talks about what people considered different are allowed in a world that is defined by others. In a painful and realistic way, he exposes the mechanism by which the aversions of “normal” people are born. Since its premiere in 2007, this work by award-winning film and theater director Kornél Mundruczó has toured throughout Europe. This will be his debut in Latin America.
