“I don't know when I knew I wanted to be what I am, young lady,” says Franco, a young police officer in the running of the bulls. Franco fragmentarily remembers different episodes that put together the story behind the crime that has him imprisoned. That happens in this work written by María José Pizarro and directed by Alexandra von Hummel, a work that investigates gender identity, sexual orientation and repression.

In his monologue, Franco remembers an early homosexual romance at a boarding school, the harassment of those around him because of that relationship, life as a police officer, the moment he violently attacked a transvestite, and prison.

The cast is made up of Juan Gálvez, Paulina Chamorro, Alejandro Fonseca and Martín Flores. The text was presented as a dramatized reading at the Lápiz de Mina Festival last year at GAM.
