EDEC, Meeting of Contemporary European Dramaturgy, will present six plays in the format of dramatized readings for a week, as well as conferences, tables and workshops.
This year, works by prominent playwrights from France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy will be performed, which will be performed by Chilean directors and actors.
The meeting seeks to give a new impetus to theatrical activity, allowing national artists to have a perspective on creative exercise, staging and contemporary European stage criticism.
EDEC is organized by the binational Institutes of Culture Goethe-Institut Chile, French Institute of Chile, British Council, Italian Institute of Culture, Embassy of Switzerland and Cultural Center of Spain, in collaboration with GAM.
