Intense, humorous and provocative, DESIERTO's Bolaño envelops the viewer in his concerns and proposes to us all a collective reflection: what is the role of the artist and poetic creation in the midst of the violence of the contemporary world?

The work of Roberto Bolaño (1953-2003) comes to life on stage, based on fragments of books, interviews and memoirs of the Chilean author, considered one of the greatest Latin American writers of the 21st century. Livera embodies the writer by lending his body and voice to excerpts from works such as The unknown university, 2666, El gaucho insufferable, Entre parentheses and Bolaño per si same.

Between poems, stories, chronicles, conferences and interviews, Bolaño's existential and artistic concerns are revealed, especially in his last years, when, already ill, he dedicated himself intensely to creation. The work focuses on the poet's journey: a man in transit, born in Chile, who passes through Mexico and settles in Spain, a journey marked by displacement, exile, helplessness and rejection of the rules of the system.
