Three daughters investigate who their parents were to question the role and its stereotype. The La Laura Palmer company brings a documentary and biographical theater production directed by Pilar Ronderos.
Is it worth sacrificing so that your children are happy? What does a father feel who only gave genes and a few lunches? What does someone feel who no longer has a father? Photos, letters, clothes, documents. Three women investigate through memory and their traces on the paternal figure. It is the daughter's look at the father they have or had, at absent, self-demanding and dead men.
With Hija de tigre the company La Laura Palmer (Those who came before) continues to develop documentary and biographical theater. The work written by Pilar Ronderos and Ítalo Gallardo tries to demystify the stereotype of the father by interweaving testimonies by actresses Ébana Garín, Daniela Jofré and Carolina Díaz. “The proposal, first of all, ratifies the inestimable value - and infinite possibilities - of this type of theater,” wrote Pedro Labra in El Mercurio.
