[c] The projects premieres can address free themes; However, they should also keep in mind that GAM for the year 2025 is interested in addressing topics and concepts detailed below and that can be considered by applicants:

— Democracy: seeks to promote awareness, dialogue and protection of the importance of democracy in contemporary society, highlighting the need for active and committed citizenship. Of interest are projects that encourage dialogue and reflection, address topics such as human rights, cultural rights, freedom and social justice, promoting a deeper understanding of these concepts and their relevance in the current context.

— Ecosocial culture: proposals that address discourses and views around the current environmental crisis, the non-human and the interspecies consciousness that evidences our eco-dependence, with critical visions around the prevailing environmental cultural models. And at the same time, how this impacts and is intertwined with humanity and its sensitivity, addressing issues such as the environmental crisis, ecocide and ecofeminism through art.

— Co-creation / Participation: the GAM 2025 programming seeks to expand the forms of relationship between art and society, going beyond the relationship between work and viewer. That is why we seek to integrate other forms and practices that consider dialogues and experiences between art and people, involving them and developing projects under the logic of collaboration, co-creation or participation. Additionally, projects that propose innovative methodologies will be valued, by proposing a more direct approach between people and the processes of artistic creation.

— Archive, History and Heritage: this look highlights aspects linked to the architectural, heritage and symbolic history of GAM. Views that enhance aesthetic and political narrative and memory exercises are encouraged, and intangible heritage and cultural diversity are also considered relevant. On the other hand, we are interested in entering the dimension of archival work, documents and memory and how these dialogue with art, becoming a relevant input for creation.
