"Returning to Chile with this emblematic work, after 12 years living abroad, is something very personal. I am doing it with the greatest modesty possible," he says while referring to the feeling that the proposal leaves him. "It is risky and very interesting. It contemporaryizes the character, bringing back the UP process and the figure of Allende, but making a counterpoint with what is happening now, with this social awakening where the Alameda has once again been occupied," he concludes.
