As far as my fingertips take me consists of a conversation through a thin wall between a spectator and a refugee.
Through touch and sound, stories are shared of people who have recently experienced border discrimination. Stories can be kept or discarded.
This hand-in-hand installation is the creation of artist Tania El Khoury, in collaboration with and performed by Basel Zaraa. El Khoury works between London and Beirut creating interventions in which the public has an active role.
This performance was commissioned for the “On the Move” section of the LIFT festival in London in 2016 next to the Royal Court Theatre.
