The Freedom Theater company brings a journey of transformation that combines reality, fantasy, tragedy and comedy and leaves us with a deep reflection on freedom. Work part of the 32nd edition of the Teatro a Mil International Festival.
In this award-winning piece, the award-winning Iraqi writer Hassan Abulrazzak, the theater company from the Jenin refugee camp in Palestine, The Freedom Theater and the British director and playwright* Zoe Lafferty join forces, giving life to a series of episodes that combine reality, fantasy, tragedy and comedy, transporting us to the heart of the difficulties, struggles and contradictions of a young man searching for himself in the midst of war.
"And Here I Am" presents a new way of reflecting on freedom, getting viewers to accompany the protagonist on his journey of transformation. This show is presented by Sens Interdits within the framework of the Teatro a Mil Festival.
