Fantasy, eroticism and picaresque humor.
This classic comedy of errors written by William Shakespeare joins the Chilean tradition in this version directed by Héctor Noguera and Daniel Muñoz.
Noguera, recent National Prize for Performing Arts, had the idea of rewriting the work in payas and popular verses that would rescue the freshness of the original.
Luis Guillermo Villalobos and Manuel Sánchez are the popular poets who accepted the challenge. Thus Shakespeare's fairies, elves and princes are translated into local mythology.
The music is by Daniel Muñoz and Luis Dubó, Ricardo Fernández, Paloma Moreno and Carolina Arredondo, among others, perform.
