Willy Oddó, exile in his voice

Testimony, songs and objects come together to reconstruct a personal story interwoven with the history of Chile. Its protagonist is Ismael Oddó, a musician who shows, tells and sings his life marked by his childhood in exile, his return to the country and the murder of his father, the Quilapayún musician Willy Oddó.

Willy Oddó, exile in the voice is an installation, work and concert at the same time; a multidisciplinary creation directed by Martín Erazo. Here the public tours a space designed by Eduardo Jiménez that includes photos, drawings, reproductions of letters and suitcases with dioramas of places such as the apartment and neighborhood where they lived in France. From these objects, Oddó tells his story, accompanied by audios, videos and songs.
