At GAM, works by the six composers invited to the Meeting will be performed by the Contemporary Music Workshop directed by Pablo Aranda.
This VIII version of the International Composers Meeting will bring together composers and performers under the theme “Music and Stage”, and will feature the presence of composers Johannes Schöllhorn (Germany), Luis Naon (France/Argentina), David Chisholm (Australia), Silvio Ferraz (Brazil), Marcos Franciosi (Argentina) and Miguel Ángel Clerc (Chile). In addition, the guitarist Mauricio Carrasco (Chile/Australia) and the Ensemble Vortex (Switzerland) will participate in the Meeting.
The VIII International Meeting of Composers will be held thanks to the support of the Goethe Institut, French Institute of Chile, Institute of Music of the Pontifical Catholic University, Department of Music and Sonology of the University of Chile, and the National Music Promotion Fund 2018
