Life, passion and cueca of María Esther Zamora and Pepe Fuentes

The concert brings them together on stage with emblematic musicians and with two actors who develop the story, between unpublished and recognized songs. Their music and stories are mixed with a large screen that tours the houses they lived in during their childhood, the current Casa de la Cueca, and even emblematic recipes of popular cuisine.
Heir to a musical tradition, María Esther is a popular and folk singer, a constant entertainer of Chilean stages linked to folklore. Performer of cuecas, tonadas, tangos, boleros, cha cha cha, waltzes and other popular rhythms, he is in a duo with the musician and singer Pepe Fuentes who stars in one of the most active couples on the scene.

For his part, Pepe Fuentes is a man in whom the various professions of the popular musician coincide: a singer, he plays the guitar, the tambourine or the bass; author and composer, arranger and director of groups, traveler and innate chronicler when it comes to making history and memory.
