Ensamble Musicantes, directed by composer and conductor Esteban Illanes, was founded in 2004 by the Musical Composition Career Directorate of the Projazz Professional Institute.
With more than 10 years of uninterrupted activity, they have tackled both works produced by students of the Musical Composition degree, as well as commissions from prominent composers on the national circuit, including musical theater productions in joint production with foreign casts and companies.
In GAM they will perform Zamapuchaca and Bonita by Marcelo Vergara; After the end by Claudio Rubio; Neither the carnival, nor the bird, nor the nest of Sebastián Vergara; Like the coming of the sea by Ignacio Díaz Lahsen; Saucisson de mar and Coquille de terre by Federico Dannemann; The year of the snake and Hurricane by Esteban Illanes.
