With more than one and a half million copies sold of their album MTV Unplugged, dozens of songs in the national spotlight and being the only one to obtain an American Grammy Award (Best Latin Rock Album for Uno), La Ley is one of the emblematic bands of national music.

Formed by distinguished musicians of the 80s: keyboardist and guitarist Andrés Bobe from Paraíso Perdido and keyboardist Rodrigo Aboitiz from Aparato Raro, they soon joined Beto Cuevas, Mauricio Claveria and Luciano Rojas in 1987, officially starting the band. His albums Desiertos (1989), Double opposition (1991), La Ley (1993) delivered radio hits such as Tejedores de illusion, Doble opposition, Prisioneros de la Piel, Angie, among others, starting a rich career.

In 1994, its leader, Andrés Bobe, died in a tragic accident, leaving a mark on national music. Today, 30 years after his disappearance, his brother Germán Bobe, a renowned visual artist on the scene, is doing a project related to his brother that will give birth to cult songs and creations from that time, such as the reissue of the album Desiertos, and the documentary Velados, Transparentes, which will be premiered on GAM.

The 30-minute audiovisual piece was produced and narrated by Germán Bobe, presenting unpublished material from the launch concert of Desiertos (1989) and from the first years of La Ley. It includes historical archives, testimonies from those close to us and invites fans to reconnect with the essence and legacy of the group.

Likewise, Rodrigo Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas. They will talk after the screening of the documentary with the journalist and writer, Marisol García, an ideal event for fans and followers who will relive the most intimate stories of La Ley. Outside the room, the sale of vinyl is contemplated.

This event marks the beginning of a year of tributes for the national band, which will include conversations with former members and those close to them, the reissue of their first two albums; in addition to another series of premieres.
