Vivaldi's Four Seasons was originally written for violin, orchestra and declaimer, but the sonnets, which according to some authors were created by Vivaldi himself, are rarely heard in concert halls. Now this version comes to GAM from the hand of the Camerata of theAlberto Hurtado Universityin musical story format.
In this new and playful format, actress Marcela Saiz will appear dressed for each season of the year, to recite the sonnets that inspired Vivaldi's work. With a simple staging, assisted by projections and lighting, the composer's renowned music will continue to take center stage, but in an agile, modern and direct format. The Spring, The Summer, The AutumnandThe Winter will be interpreted in a language designed for a real educational experience, through narration and music, to develop a special connection between work, artists and public.
