“To be third is to lose, to be second is not the same as to come in first place…”, these words of enormous wisdom proclaimed by a slender Miguel Bosé, in mesh and with shoulder pads, have been a triumphalist anthem for more than 30 years, at the same time as a kitsch musical icon.
That's why I'm going to win, by Miguel Bosé, will be part of the World Concert, a special show that will give Tears, Jealousy and Doubts in the midst of football fever. The trio made up of actresses María Paz Grandjean, Manuela Oyarzún and Marcela Salinas will also perform other great kitsch songs such as Él me lied, by Amanda Miguel, and Este amor ya no se puede, by Yuri.
Formed in 2008 from a play of the same name, the trio combines music and theater to perform great songs in Spanish from the '70s and '80s with humor, nostalgia, volume and brightness. Characterized as three Latin American divas Salinas (Lágrimas), Oyarzún (Jealousy) and Grandjean (Doubts) will be accompanied by musicians Marcello Martínez, Marcelo Concha, Carlos Molina, Carlos Luz and Martín Benavides.
