The famous Japanese drums will be the protagonists in this show that brings the beauty of a performance style that highlights traditional Japanese arts.
Along with the strength of the sound of the Wa-daiko (Japanese Drum), the show includes sounds of flute, guitar and singing, as well as dance.
Taiko (literally "big drum" of 310 kilos) is used in many traditional festive events, had a warrior use in ancient Japan and was one of the oldest court musical styles. Today, taiko concerts are very popular where they bring together drums of various sizes, shapes and tones.
Additionally, the famous acrobatic lion dance will be performed, which is one of the ritual dances associated with Shinto shrines. The purpose of this ritual is to welcome the gods and entertain them. In this dance, the spirit of the god is believed to reside in the mask.
In this way, the Nico-Ichi group brings Japanese music and performance to GAM, combining tradition with creativity.
