The world music band with more than 25 years of experience brings a show that covers the best of 22 published albums with which they have toured prestigious festivals in Chile, Europe and North America. This concert takes place within the framework of Tocatas Mil 2025.
Subhira's compositions mix music from native peoples of southern America with avant-garde, electronics and progressive sound. All of these sounds have elements of jazz, classical music and folklore.
Accompanying them for this concert is artist Arsen Petrosyan, who has recently emerged as one of the leading proponents of Armenian duduk of his generation.
Following in the footsteps of established duduk masters such as Djivan Gasparian and his mentor Gevorg Dabaghyan, Petrosyan has managed to carve his own path through various collaborations with Steve Hackett (Genesis), Emirati composer Ihab Darwish and oudist Omar Bashir, among others. Between his two groups, the A.G.A Trio and the Arsen Petrosyan Quartet, he has performed throughout Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia and the Caucasus. As a solo artist, Petrosyan has also toured extensively throughout North America and the aforementioned territories.
